South Africa Self Drive
Tour South Africa at your own pace with our fantastic self-drive option starting in Cape Town, making your way along scenic country side to the Garden Route and Port Elizabeth where you will catch a flight to Durban and drive to Johannesburg.
Day 1
Arrival in Cape Town where you will collect your rental car and make your way to your hotel, Hotel Graeme where you will stay on a Bed and Breakfast basis.
Day 2
Spend the day at your Leisure and the night at Hotel Graeme on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 3
Spend the day at your Leisure and the night at Hotel Graeme on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 4
Spend the day at your Leisure and the night at Hotel Graeme on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 5
Taking the N1 to Worcester and from there head towards the Garden Route via Oudtshoorn though the Robertson Pass, an 800m above sea level pass that cuts the Outeniqua Mountain Range before your arrival in Mossel Bay, where you will spend the night at the Protea Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 6
To Plettenberg where you will check in and spend the night at the Hotel NH Plettenberg on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 7
Knysna to a Tsitsikamma National Park, you will be spending the night at the Tsitsikamma Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 8
Today you will make your way to Port Elizabeth, where you will check in at the Hotel Brooke Hills for bed and breakfast.
Day 9/10
Return the rental car to the airport and catch a flight to Durban (Flight NOT included in package price). Upon arrival in Durban you will take delivery of a new rental car with unlimited Km/ day and super cover vehicle insurance. From the airport you will make your way through some amazing scenery to the Ghost Mountain Inn where you will stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 10
Spend the day at your Leisure and the night at the Ghost Mountain Inn on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 11
Today you will make your way to Hoedspruit where you will arrive at Kapama Game Reserve where you will stay on a full board basis.
Day 12
View the African bush and see the local wildlife while on Safari through the Kapama Game Reserve, staying another night on a full board basis.
Day 13
Today you will travel to the see the exquisite views of the Blyde River Canyon. You will check in at the Blyde River Canyon Hotel for bed and breakfast.
Day 14
After breakfast you will set off to Johannesburg where you will arrive at the airport and return your rental car.
